When talented chef Ashley Steele posted the inspiration for this drawing, I was sparked by the energy the image gave off.  Sipping from a red cup, it looked almost serene, and yet its impact was extremely energetic all at the same time.  The responses that it garnered only strengthened my perspective on it.  I sketched it out, making it a bit more cartoonish than the original and shared it with her.  Then I added the stroked colorful lines during the coloring phase, and the energy seemed to double.  Still, I couldn't decide how I wanted to the statement to be made, so I decided to deliver both.
